Mrs. Burnett
Ms. Anita Wadley, Assistant Principal
Ms. Anita Wadley has 16 years of teaching experience at the elementary level and four years of teaching experience as a co-teacher at Harris County Carver Middle School. In addition to school-level experience, Ms. Wadley worked as an Educational Consultant in the states of Georgia and Alabama with Anderson and Ward Educational Consultants. Ms. Wadley began her career as an Assistant Principal at Park Elementary School before she joined the New Mountain Hill Leadership Team. She has an Educational Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership from Lincoln Memorial University, a Master’s of Education degree in Work, Community, and Family Education, and a Certificate in Disability Policy and Services from the University of Minnesota. She also has a Bachelor’s degree in Mental Handicaps from Albany State University. Ms. Wadley is a proud graduate of Harris County High School and a product of Mountain Hill Elementary School. She believes both parental and community involvement are essential to a successful classroom and school environment. It is her belief, that students should be given the opportunity to develop into lifelong learners through a balanced education that addresses the needs of the individual as well as the group, across the curricular mosaic. These guiding principles create a productive and prolific school experience for every student.
